Suspension of cremation service at Kwai Chung Crematorium

Kwai Chung Crematorium temporarily suspends cremation services starting from August 14, 2024 for replacement of the cremators upon its expected service life and other refurbishment works. The construction works are expected to be completed and resume service by the end of 2027. Meanwhile, the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department will release additional cremation sessions at other government crematoria to maintain the overall provision of service.
