The Government has established the Commercial Bathhouse Licence Holder Subsidy Scheme, Places of Public Entertainment Licence (PPEL) Holder Subsidy Scheme and Tenants of Cooked Food/Light Refreshment Stalls at FEHD Markets Subsidy Scheme under the Anti-epidemic Fund to provide financial support to the commercial bathhouses, places of public entertainment licence holders and FEHD market cooked food / light refreshment stall tenants hard-hit by the epidemics and social distancing measures.

The Commercial Bathhouse Licence Holder Subsidy Scheme is expected to benefit about 50 licensees and will offer a one-off subsidy of $100,000 to each eligible licence holder. The PPEL Holder Subsidy Scheme will provide a one-off subsidy of $100,000 for each eligible holder of a PPEL (excluding cinema operators eligible under the Cinemas Subsidy Scheme) and $20,000 for each eligible holder of a temporary PPEL that it is expected to benefit about 480 licence holders. On the other hand, under the Tenants of Cooked Food/Light Refreshment Stalls at FEHD Markets Subsidy Scheme, a one-off subsidy of $50,000 will be provided to each eligible stall that it is expected to benefit about 920 market stall tenants.

Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) accepts applications for the schemes starting from 27 April 2020 at 9:00 a.m., the deadline for applications will be on 27 May 2020 at 5:00 p.m.. Late submission will not be entertained.
