# A columbarium that was in operation immediately before the enactment date may continue to operate in the grace period of 9 months beginning on the enactment date, but it must not sell or new let out niches in that period. Please click here for details.

* “Pre-cut-off columbarium” means a columbarium that was in operation, and in which ashes were interred in niches, immediately before the “cut-off time”.
