Aldrich Bay Market

Note：The daily opening hours of the cooked food centre in Aldrich Bay Market will be from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 midnight.

The Department has the absolute right to specify from time to time the number of stalls to be designated for selling the prescribed commodities or to vary the specific purpose or use of an individual stall in a market.

Vehicle entering the loading and unloading bay of the Aldrich Market is required to pass through the Emergency Vehicular Access (EVA) in between the Aldrich Bay Market and the Oi Tung Shopping Centre Carpark.  The EVA is owned and under the management by “The Link”.  Vehicle using the EVA should strictly observe the terms and conditions including the requirement for payment as stipulated by “The Link”.

No vehicle is allowed to remain in the loading and unloading bay of the Aldrich Bay Market for more than 30 minutes. “The Link” will collect payment from vehicles entering into the emergency vehicular access in between the Aldrich Bay Market and the Oi Tung Shopping Centre Carpark after the first 30 minutes.

No “yellow line scheme” is adopted in the Aldrich Bay Market, which means that there is no display area outside the stalls.  The market stallholders have to keep their commodities within the stalls or risk prosecution.

There is a roller shutter installed at side of stalls S8 and S13 for partitioning off the cooked food centre from the rest of the market after the market is closed at 8:00 pm.

Demolition of the partition walls between stalls and end walls in the Aldrich Bay Market will be forbidden.

  2. Concessionary upset price for stalls that have been vacant for a long time is:
    * 80% of original open market rent or latest open market rent, whichever is the lower.
