A: No.  Under the relevant legislation and licensing conditions, the following breeds of fighting dogs or known dangerous dogs are prohibited from entering food premises:

❌ “Fighting dogs”: For example, the Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Fila Braziliero and Dogo Argentino.

❌ Crossbreeds of the above fighting dog breeds: Crossbreeds of the relevant breeds are also subject to this restriction.

❌ “Known dangerous dogs”: Dogs that have been adjudged and declared by the court as dangerous dogs.

💡 Identification and management advice for the trade: Under the law, the said “fighting dogs” and “known dangerous dogs” must, when in public places, wear a collar in specific colour for identification purpose.  In addition, such dogs must also wear a muzzle.  If any doubt arises in daily operation, restaurant staff should take the initiative to find out from the customer bringing the dog and conduct checking, so as to fulfil their management responsibilities.
