A gentle reminder from the FEHD dedicated team:

Under current legislation, no fighting dogs or known dangerous dogs are allowed into food premises.

“Fighting dogs” include breeds like the Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Fila Braziliero and Dogo Argentino, as well as their crossbreeds.

Besides, dogs that have been adjudged and declared by the court as “known dangerous dogs” are prohibited from entry as well.

Under the law, “fighting dogs” and “known dangerous dogs” must, when in public places, wear a collar in specific colour for identification purpose. In addition, such dogs must also wear a muzzle. If in doubt, the restaurant operators should take the initiative to find out from the customers bringing dogs, so as to fulfil their gatekeeping role.
