🧐 Dog owners should take the initiative to clean up immediately

Pet owners: As a civic-minded and decent pet owner, you should take the initiative to clean up any excrement of your dog immediately.  Never try to secretly cover it up with tissue paper and walk away as if nothing has happened!  Please notify the restaurant staff right away for assistance.

✨ Food premises are responsible for immediate and thorough cleaning and disinfection

According to the licensing conditions, if a dog relieves itself on the premises, the soiled area must be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected immediately to maintain the hygiene condition of the premises.

💡 A friendly reminder for persons-in-charge of the food premises: If you wish to charge the customers bringing dogs a cleaning fee, you should clearly state the details of the charge in the “Notes to Customers” or display them in a prominent location near the entrance to the premises to avoid unnecessary disputes.

🗑 Tips on sanitary facilities for the food premises:

Designated trash bins: Food premises should provide pedal-operated trash bins for customers to dispose of their dogs’ excrement.  Please note, however, that such trash bins must under no circumstances be placed inside the food rooms (kitchens/food preparation areas).

Clear guidelines: It is recommended that established “House Rules” be displayed at a prominent location within the food premises for all customers to follow.

🚗 Let your dog burn off energy before you go: Before entering the food premises, better take your dog for a walk outdoor and let them relieve themselves first.

 🎒 Pack an “emergency kit”: Bring pet diapers, wet wipes and deodorising sprays.

 🎀 Be a polite ambassador: If your dog isn’t fully potty-trained yet, the safest and most considerate choice is to use a pet belly band or diapers inside the food premises, or keep it in a pet stroller or carrier bag!
