The Government has announced earlier that there would be an injection to the Anti-epidemic Fund to roll out the fourth round of measures to enhance Hong Kong's anti-epidemic capability and provide relief to businesses and individuals hard hit by the epidemic and directly affected by the Government's anti-epidemic and social distancing measures, among which subsidies will be provided to commercial bathhouse licence holders, places of public entertainment licence (PPEL) holders and tenants of cooked food/light refreshment stalls at Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) Markets subsidy scheme.

The Commercial Bathhouse Licence Holder Subsidy Scheme will offer a one-off subsidy of $100,000 to each eligible licence holder. The PPEL Holder Subsidy Scheme will provide a one-off subsidy of $100,000 for each eligible holder of a PPEL (excluding cinema operators eligible under the Cinemas Subsidy Scheme) and $20,000 for each eligible holder of a temporary PPEL. On the other hand, under the Tenants of Cooked Food/Light Refreshment Stalls at FEHD Markets Subsidy Scheme, a one-off subsidy of $50,000 will be provided to each eligible stall.

FEHD accepts applications for the schemes starting from 29 December 2020 at 9:00 a.m., the deadline for applications will be on 28 January 2021 at 5:00 p.m.. Late submission will not be entertained.
