The Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) accepted application for allocation of 10,900 extendable niches in Block A, Wo Hop Shek Columbarium Phase VI (including 120 smoke-free and 123 non-smoke-free large niches and 5,730 smoke-free and 4,927 non-smoke-free standard niches] from 11 May to 10 June 2022 and a total of 8,510 applications have been received. In response to demand, a corresponding quantity of niches in Block B will be supplemented for allocation.

FEHD will determine the priority of all eligible applications and the designated niche for individual successful applicants by open drawing of lots and computer random balloting.  The process will be recorded for public viewing on FEHD website. 50 seats will also be reserved for public participation. Interested participants should call 2330 5635 for reservation of seats (one person per application) on or before 30.8.2022, first-come-first-served. Details are as follows:

Applicant may check the ballot result on FEHD website (www.fehd.gov.hk), at Hong Kong and Kowloon Cemeteries and Crematoria Offices and Public Niche Allocation Office, or  through Interactive Voice Response System at hotline 2841 9111.  In addition, individual successful applicants will be notified of the designated niche allocated by SMS and email. Successful applicants will also be informed in writing of the appointed date and time for completion of allocation formalities according to their priorities thereafter.
