Following the commissioning of the Garden of Forever Love at Wo Hop Shek, Fanling on 11 April 2019, the second facility for keeping abortuses of less than 24 weeks' gestation managed by the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD), the Garden of Forever Love at Cape Collinson Columbarium was commissioned on 19 August 2021. It is located within Cape Collinson Columbarium, Chai Wan.  In a scenic and serene setting, the garden provides about 400 keeping spaces with a stand for offering flowers and a wall for mounting commemorative plaques.  The service is free of charge.  Applications will be accepted starting from today.

To apply for keeping of Abortus at "Garden of Forever Love", the concerned father and/or mother is/are required to be resident(s) of Hong Kong.  Applicants should submit in person the completed application form and the "Documentation on Abortus" or other documentary proof issued by local medical practitioner/hospital/registered healthcare facility to the Cemeteries and Crematoria office of FEHD in Hung Hom or Happy Valley.  For application made by fax, post or e-form, FEHD will require the applicant in a subsequent scheduled session to submit the original copy of supporting document(s) for verification.
