Ching Ming Festival is approaching, and it is expected that a large number of grave sweepers will visit Tsang Tsui Columbarium to pay tribute to their ancestors during the festive period. The section of Nim Wan Road between Yung Long Road and the access road to Tsang Tsui Columbarium will be closed from 7.00 am to 7.00 pm daily on 20, 21, 27 & 28 March 2021, 2 - 6, 10, 11, 17, 18, 24 & 25 April 2021 and 1 & 2 May 2021. Except for the following vehicles, all other vehicles and pedestrians will be prohibited from entering the above road section:
- Emergency vehicles;
- Franchised buses;
- Taxis;
- Vehicles heading for West New Territories Landfill and T.Park;
- Vehicles with permits issued by the Commissioner for Transport; and
- Vehicles permitted by the Police on site.
During the above road closure period, FEHD's free shuttle bus will be temporarily suspended. Grave sweepers are not allowed to walk or drive to Tsang Tsui Columbarium, and KMB will provide a special route 56S plying between MTR Tuen Mun Station and Tsang Tsui Columbarium. The operating hours of 56S are as follows:
