(I)   Arrangements for visitors of Kowloon Joint Office after 1p.m. every Saturday

To facilitate members of the public, the service hours of the Hong Kong Island Joint Office located at Wan Chai and Kowloon Joint Office located at Cheung Sha Wan are extended to 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. from Monday to Saturday with effect from 25 March 2022 until further notice. Since the main entrance of Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices is closed every Saturday at 1p.m., if members of the public wish to visit/leave the Kowloon Joint Office located at Cheung Sha Wan, please make use of the side door near by the carpark of Cheung Sha Wan Government Offices for entry and exit. (II)  Extension of Service Hours of Online Booking of Cremation Services

With effect from 26 March 2022 (Saturday), this department will extend the online cremation booking service hours until further notices. At present, online cremation booking service hours are from 9:15 am on Mondays to 12:30 noon  on Saturdays (except Saturday afternoons, Sundays and Public Holidays). Under the special arrangement, the extended online cremation booking service hours are from 9:15 a.m. on Mondays to 11:59 p.m. on Saturdays (except Sundays and Public Holidays).

(III) Extension of Daily Collection Hours of Coffins to 8p.m. at Crematoria

With effect from 28 March 2022 (Monday), except Cheung Chau Crematorium, both the daily collection hours of coffins and the opening hours of service halls will be extended to 8:00 p.m. at all public crematoria managed by this department. In the event that after 8:00 p.m. coffins arrive at crematoria and uses of service halls are required, please contact staff of crematoria in advance for special arrangements.
