  1. Talks on regimen for Autumn and Winter
   
  • Date: 18 October 2008 (Saturday)
  • Time: 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Content:
    (a)
    Registered Chinese medicine practitioner will share tips on the regimen for Autumn and Winter, and a cooking instructor will demonstrate three regimen dishes and one soup using ingredients fresh from the market, followed by a tasting session
    (b)
    Recipes and souvenirs will be distributed to participants
  2. Talks on cholesterol lowering diet
   
  • Date: 25 October 2008 (Saturday)
  • Time: 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Content:
    (a)
    Registered Chinese medicine practitioner will share dietetic tips on lowering cholesterol level, and a cooking instructor will demonstrate three health dishes and one soup using ingredients fresh from the market, followed by a tasting session
    (b)
    Free blood pressure checking
    (c)
    Recipes and souvenirs will be distributed to participants
  3. Talk on postnatal dietetic therapy
   
  • Date: 1 November 2008 (Saturday)
  • Time: 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Content:
    (a)
    Registered Chinese medicine practitioner will share tips on postnatal dietetic therapy, and a cooking instructor will demonstrate three health dishes and one soup using ingredients fresh from the market, followed by a tasting session
    (b)
    Recipes and souvenirs will be distributed to participants
  4. Cooking Competition
   
  • Date: 15 November 2008 (Saturday)
  • Time: 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
  • Content:
    (a)
    Participants will make 1 to 2 dishes / desserts / soups on the spot with ingredients fresh from the market
    (b)
    Adjudicators will select a winner, a first runner-up and a second runner-up
  • Prize:
    The winner, first runner-up and second runner-up will be awarded with prizes worth $400, $200 and $100 respectively
  • Entry:
    Application forms are available at the Aldrich Bay Market Office. Completed forms should be returned on or before 7 November 2008 by mail or in person to the Market Office at 15 Aldrich Bay Road, Shau Kei Wan, or by fax on 3195 4573
Gift Rewards Programme
  • Date: 27 October to 9 November 2008 (2 consecutive weeks)
  • Content:
    Get a stamp by spending a designated amount and redeem a gift with the required number of stamps
  • Details of activity:
    Get a stamp by spending a minimum of $20 and redeem a gift with 5 or 10 stamps at the following time and venue
  • Redemption time: 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. or 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Redemption venue: Aldrich Bay Market Office

Souvenirs, gifts and recipes will be given on a first-come-first-served basis
