Five-day week in the Government

(a) To tie in with Government's five-day week plan, the business hours of the Food and Environmental Hygiene Department (FEHD) are extended on weekdays. Effective from 1 July 2006, the new opening hours for various offices will generally be changed to 8:45 am to 6:00 pm from Monday to Friday, inclusive of one-hour lunch break.

(b) Starting 1 July 2006, opening hours of the following front-line/counter services will be :
